Preset Elements
In this article, you will learn how and when to use the preset elements in the form Builder.
- Full Name – Instead of creating separate fields for prefix, first name, middle name, last name. You can use Full name element in order to save time and unify this into a single input. Typically Full Name element is also used as the inputs in the Decision Flow. Under the Advance tab, you can define the placeholder and error texts when this fields are empty when it is marked required.

2. Gender – This is the predefined choice with the gender option. This is a commonly used dropdown/choice in the application form so we make this as preset elements to save time.

3. Phone – This is the short text field with numeric format validation and country code. You can also select the default country code in this Phone Preset element.

4. Email – This is the short text field with email format validation. You can also add Confirm Email text box for user to re-enter their email for validation.

5. Address – This is the address element that combines multiple short text fields into a single element. You can select the default country and the address format fields will be adjusted based on each country address format.

6. Dynamic Result – This is a real-time point calculation element that is based on the answers in each element prior to this Dynamic Result (short answer, dropdown, choice). The use cases for the dynamic result are such as survey result, examination, investment suitability test, risk assessment form, etc. You can adjust the result style and band colors based on the total score they get. There are 2 tabs in the Dynamic Result settting.

Calculation – This defines how the total score is calculated. You can ‘Add Question’ and set the point for each answer.
- Short Answer – You can define the score based on the exact word that user respond in the short answer.

- Dropdown – You can define the score based on the option that user select in the drop down element.

- Choice – For multiple choice, you can define the score calculation in multiple ways. Sum / Mean / Max / Min

Display – Under this tab, you have the option to select the score style and configure the result list.
There are currently 4 options for the Score Style.

You can divide the range of score based, assign the color band, and provide heading and description underneath the score.
